  1. Computer crash

I dropped my computer and now it is on a strange loop that won't let me fix the problem. When I turn the computer it is the blue screen of death but it offers me keyboard layouts so I choose us. Then it allows me to either shut off the computer or go into advanced options. I go to Advanced options and try to system restore and it tells me that in order to use system restore I have to restart the computer and choose system restore from options but I can't get to that menu so that's not an option. I've tried various command prompt combinations and the best I have gotten is to using Bootrec /rebuildbcdheck which gives me 4Computer crash :possible commands:

    /FixMbr

    or

    /FixBoot

    or

    /ScanOs

    or

    /RebuildBcd

I have no idea if any of these could work so any guidance would be awesome. I have a lot on this computer that is valuable to me. Thanks so much!

    :)

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    Friends computer crashing

Hello, my friends computer keeps crashing when ever he tries to play SC2 ( or anything that involves extensive videocard use) , I think he has a GT280X. I'm not sure if its a heat issue, or damage to the card, or what. Any suggestions on what could be the problem?
