  1. Computer Crashes at random times and I haven't been able to isolate the issue Event Log...

Hi All,I've had my computer since March 21 and it has this issue where it will just crash suddenly and reboot. This happens seemingly randomly. Sometimes I can go weeks or months without a crash, other times it crashes multiple times in a couple of hours. Any help here would be greatly appreciated, I will attach the Critical Failure Event viewer log for debugging help. Link to crash zip: Recent_Crash.zipThanks!

    :)

  3. Computer crashing on log-in

Hi, I'm having issues with a crashing computer in an enterprise environment.

I'm trying to upgrade a certain user's laptop to a more recent model, but as this particular user has a vast amount of programs and configurations, I've opted to use Veeam to clone from his old laptop (Dell Precision 3541 running Windows 10 21H2 OS build 19044.2006, Feature experience pack 120.2212.4180.0) to the new laptop (Dell Latitude 5530, Brand new out of box). The clone process went smoothly, but immediately upon logging in, I am faced with this problem:

As soon as valid user credentials (Local or Domain) are entered in and submitted (to the main windows logon screen) it will load for approximately 1 second before freezing up for about 2 seconds, before finally forcibly terminating in a BSOD (INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR). The laptop will then reboot, and at that point the steps can be followed exactly the same. Can't log in.

However, safe mode works fine. I can log into any user account with no issues.

    Steps I've tried:

    • Logging in without network (Cached credentials or local account)
    • Disabling TPM
    • All possible startup settings (Low resolution video mode, driver signature enforcement, etc)
    • Removing device and uninstalling drivers for ALL possible devices in device manager while booted in safe mode
    • DISM and SFC
    • Removing our antivirus from the original laptop and re-cloning
    • While in safe mode, running all startup programs one by one - None crashed the system
    • Confirming the old laptop is working perfectly fine
Event log shows no errors at the time of crash; there is a gap in events from when it crashes to when it starts back up. I've attached a custom view of the last hour of events; the most recent crash occured at 10/20/2022 11:43:00 AM (Note the gap in events at this time). I've verified that there are no other event levels containing events in this gap.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to have to rebuild this user's system from the ground up, as it's gonna be a far bigger pain then dealing with the BSOD.

Computer Hard Freezing - No Event Logs or Memory Dumps

The freezing mostly occurs after the computer has been left in sleep mode for an extended period of time - Even if restarted, the computer will still freeze ~5 minutes upon restore from sleep.

    Thanks!

EDIT - there's no pattern as it still froze a couple times tonight after only a few hours of use
