Windows 10: Computer crashes shortly after every wakeup/power on

Hello,Shortly after waking up or turning my computer on it crashes. Everything freezes for a second, all screens go to a single color, and it auto-restarts. It runs fine after one crash, but always has that one crash. I can't find a meaningful error in the event viewer other than the power going out unexpectedly. It looks like a GPU overusage issue from what I can tell, but it isn't only when I'm running GPU intensive programs, and after one crash it runs extremely GPU intensive programs fine. The only critical failure in event viewer's XML view is below, seems pretty consistent in the issue b

I noticed that several people asked similar questions but I don't have the feeling that my situation is the same.

My problem occurs on a computer that was clean installed with the Anniversary Edition of Windows 10 (I resorted to

that after the DATA MIGRATION step of the update failed). In the previous version of Windows 10 the Control Panel

item Power Options opened a panel with certain options listed on the left, the first of which was "Require a password

on wakeup". This option is apparently missing in my version of Windows 10 Anniversary Edition. Can someone help me

The computer might've encountered an error after the changes were applied. Did you get an error message when the computer crashed?

Enable Require password on Wake up Windows 10

To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest disabling and
enabling the Require a password on wakeup settings on your power plan
by following the steps below:

• Open the Advanced power settings for your current chosen
  power plan.
• Click on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link.
• Set the Require a password on wakeup settings to Yes
  or No, and click on OK.
