Windows 10: Computer Crashes with Black Screen - Not Sure if Video or Audio or Dropbox Related

Hi thereWindows crashes to a black screen randomly from a few minutes to a few days and I can't get to the bottom of it. Initially it looked like the hard drive as a sector was bad on that so I replaced it and did a clean install. However, it started happening again.I seem to be able to speed the crashes up by opening a browser and playing an embedded video e.g. YouTube. I've used different browsers and it happens with each of them. I've rolled back and changed / tested video and audio drivers but it still keeps happening.I then spotted something about OneDrive can cause an issue so removed

as other suggested it might be the on board audio.
try disabling the audio in the BIOS. play with no audio and see if it still crash.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's not a software related issue which is why I was suggesting that you remove the video card to start with since it's such an easy process of elimination step.

I'm not familiar with AMD CPUs, I did see that you had listed in your system specs but I had no idea whether or not it has an iGPU

Is there any possibility of you being able to get your hands on any compatible video card at all?it would be the easiest step to try to troubleshoot or at least one of the easier ones. You should be able to get into the bios without anything but A display cable hooked up to the motherboard

 

Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad
