Windows 10: Computer Crashing/Overheating

Hello, I am looking for some help with recent computer issues. I have recently upgraded my computer after struggling with computer crashes within the last 2-3 months. Originally, when my computer was crashing I noticed that anytime I bumped my desk, the computer was freezing, so I replugged all of my cables inside the pc and the issue went away. I only included this issue incase it could be related. A few weeks later, I upgraded my computer with a Ryzen 9 5900X, a corsair RM1000X power supply and an RTX 3060 graphics card. Shortly after I noticed my computer was overheating reaching around

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

GPU overheating less than a minute into gaming


I opened the side of my case and put a normal fan next to it, and it was still overheating. I spoke to my old computing teacher and he suggested that it might be a power supply problem. I have a workaround by capping the games at 30 fps, but with the new DOOM game 30 fps seems to crash the game for an unknown reason, so this workaround is not universal.

ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.
