    Computer crashing /unresponsive whenever i close any sort of game.


    Whenever i launch any sort of game, whether my PC is able to run it, or not, it always crashes/is unresponsive.If I'm playing any music, or watching a video, the sound stops, but the video continues to play, and the game would freeze. The first thing id do is open task manager via the Taskbar shortcut, but when I click on Task manager, the button would just stick onto my screen, and Task manager wouldn't respond either, and neither any application, or service for that matter. When I try to reset my PC, it just doesn't, and id have to resort to a hard reset. This happens whether the game is lo

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
