Windows 10: Computer crashing while idle, unziping files greater than 5gbs or while trying to download...

When ever I try unziping any file greater than 5 gbs, while downloading some games and sometimes when idle, my computer crashes. Either giving a never loading blue screen where I need to press the restart button and close the computer before it fully loads and open it back up to get it working again or gives me the warning below where I do the same restart , close , open thing again. Also my front jack ports do not work, as in they do not recognize anything is pluged in. my mother board is MAXIMUS VI EXTREME by ASUSmy processor is IntelR CoreTM i7-4790K I triedfull formatupdating driversc

Unzip downloaded file

There is a possibility that some of your zipped files got corrupted during the download process. This is why you're having challenges trying to unzip those files.

For possible solution, we suggest that you try to re-download those files and check if you will still experience the same issue. If yes, then please run
SFC scan and DISM scan. These tools
will help you repair the corrupted files and will also

unzip a file?

I downloaded a file from a window 10 book called Windows 10 step by step and in Windows 10 I double click on it and I got garbage and then I tried my windows 7 computer and by double clicking on the file it was fine.

I see multiple questions about unzipping files in windows 10 with the same exact response about opening the folder via 'windows icon +E' which I can use to open a folder but I get no option for unzipping other than I need to download Winzip. Is this functionality
not included in windows 10 as it has been previously? Please don't just post the same copy and paste response that didn't work for quite a few people based on comments from your site.
The steps below DO NOT WORK for windows 10. I've been using previous versions of windows for years and while this used to work it doesn't in your new version.

• Locate the zipped folder that you want to unzip (extract) files or folders from.
• Do one of the following:
  • To unzip a single file or folder, open the zipped folder, then drag the file or folder from the zipped folder to a new location.
  • To unzip all the contents of the zipped folder, press and hold (or right-click) the folder, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
