Windows 10: Computer Crashing while playing Flight simulator

Hi, i have a brand new PC with a msi GE Force GTX 970, Intel I5 with 16GB of RAM which works fine until i run Flight simulator for few minutes. All of the sudden i get a blue screen and i found this error in the event viewer:Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">;- <System><Provider Name="Microsoft-Windows-WHEA-Logger" Guid="{c26c4f3c-3f66-4e99-8f8a-39405cfed220}" /><EventID>1</EventID><Version>0</Version><Level>2</Level><Task>0</Task><Opcode>0</Opcode><Keywords>0x8000000000000002<

Unable to play Flight simulator on Windows 10

I understand it can be frustrating when the application stops working. In order to get clarity on the issue, please reply with the answers to the questions below.

• What is the current build of Windows 10 you are using on your computer? You can refer this article to
  
  Check for the operating system information in Windows 10.
  
• Was there any change on your computer, prior to which you did not face this issue?
  
• Are you using Flight simulator or Flight simulator X?
  
• Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the application?
  

If the issue is with Flight Simulator X, I would suggest you to refer the article on

Activation message after you play Flight Simulator X for 30 minutes and check if it works for you.

Microsoft Flight Simulator issue after Windows 10 Upgrade

Hi Rahul,



Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.



I suggest you to completely uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator and check.

Refer the steps below to uninstall.

• Press “Windows key + X”, select Control panel.
• Open programs and features.
• In the list of installed programs, select Microsoft Flight Simulator, and then click
  Remove.

Note: If you have earlier versions of Flight Simulator in the list of installed programs, you will have to remove them in addition to Flight Simulator.



Reinstall the Flight Simulator.
