  1. Computer Crashing with BSOT related to ntdll.sys and ntoskrnl.exe

    Hi all,

I bought my computer seven months ago and since the beginning, I have been experiencing crashes with BSOT. At first, it crashed every 2hrs. I tried the most common solutions sfc scan, update drivers, chkdsk /f /r, DISM tool and it helped but my computer still crashes at random times. I also used memtest and HD Tune to check my hardware, but those didn’t report any problems although the temp of my SSD is always between 50-60°.

Here you can see the dumpfiles and System Information: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zhTvdRcSX-IIU5pek7ULIpPI4A5m9LmR/view?usp=sharing

    Could you help me?

    :)

  4. Computer Crashing with BSOT related to ntdll.sys and ntoskrnl.exe

    Windows explore crash when searching

The tenforums link solved this issue for me.

The root cause is a Windows 10 bug where File Explorer crashes when long file names are included in a search result. The steps for the workaround are:

    • Open File Explorer
    • Click View > Options
    • Open the View tab
    • Check "Always show icons, never thumbnails"
    • Click OK
