Windows 10: Computer deadlocks shortly after opening it

Recently my computer has started to completely freeze about a minute after it boots up. At first I was concerned that Steam was the issue because I was booting up steam when the error first began, but even when I go into browsers or don’t even open anything at all it will consistently freeze a minute or so after startup. During these freezes, my mouse won’t move, I can’t scroll, and even my keyboard stops functioning I can’t turn caps lock on or off. Upon several restarts of my computer there seems to be a repair function occurring for my C:/ drive or just a “repairing disk” operation, howev

Computer Deadlocking

My computer deadlocks with no warning at random times. I have noticed that usually after this, if i go into update history, there is almost always a new "update installed" after hard resetting my computer. It seems that every time my computer deadlocks,
the cause was an "update installed" Any fixes?

I tried the troubleshooting and it turned up with nothing. The computer never tells me its updating when it deadlocks, it just has a log of updates installed upon restarting. After that I decided to try disabling Auto-Update through
gpedit.msc going to Configure Automatic Updates, and setting it to notify only to see if solves the problem, but i wont know if that helped
or not unless it deadlocks again, which is random.
