Windows 10: Computer freezes after sleep/idle/hibernate with copilot screen

Hello,I recently started having an issue where after my computer returns from idling or a sleep period, my computer freezes where my cursor can move, but i physically cant click on anything to log back into my computer. I'm on a screen with a generic background and it offers me to trial out the microsoft copilot. I left click to try to enter my login but it doesnt work cause the computer freezes on the trial copilot screen and idle/screensaver page. I cant even restart or shut off my computer, and have to force reset my computer everytime this happens.A fix would be great,thanks

Bluetooth still on while idle

Thanks for following the steps. Now, the settings won't take effect if you are only using normal PC idle mode. Normal functionality of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings are to stay connected even if PC is idle. With the settings that you have created, we would
suggest that you set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or
Hibernate once idle. In this way, the settings "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" should take effect.

To set your PC to automatically go to Sleep or Hibernate when idle, please follow these steps:

• Open Control Panel, set view by: Small
  icons.
• Look for Power Options.
• Click on Change when the computer sleeps on the left pane.
• Set a timer.

Computer goes into sleep or hibernation whenever idle


Yes, I have all the power settings set to stay active, but the computer goes into sleep or hibernation (I do not know which) after being idle for around 20 minutes.

I think you have sleep and hibernate confused... sleep just puts the computer in a low power state, making resuming the session faster... hibernate shuts down the whole computer and basically just saves whats in RAM to the hdd and loads it on next startup. IIRC...
