Windows 10: Computer freezes and restarts frequently, multiple times per day.

This often occurs seconds after initial windows log in, then after restarting and logging in again, can occur every 30 minutes some days. No errors are popping up to indicate power failures, drivers crashes or anything like that. Most of the time it just instantly goes black and begins restarting, sometimes the screen will lock for 20 seconds before restart.

Thanks for the follow-up @zbook. Since I uninstalled and then installed the updated Asus Aura program, I have had none of the freezes and lags at all for 24 hours. I still ran the SeaTools test you suggested, but I think I'm good to call this SOLVED, what do you think??

 

Windows Freezing Multiple Times Per Day

Since a Windows update in October 2019, my computer freezes multiple times per day. And by freeze, I mean screen goes static and nothing responds. The only solution is to hold down the power button.

I've followed the steps in
Performance and Install Integrity Checklist to no avail.

I have not yet resinstalled Windows fresh because I don't want to do that until I know Windows is the culprit.

Is there any way I can check what is causing the freezing?

The Reliability Monitor only displays "Windows was not properly shut down."

Windows 10 is randomly freezing up multiple times a day. I do not see an error in the error logs. I have defragmented, Do you have any suggestions to fix the problem. It has been happening now for 4 days. I do not have a restore point to go back to. I have updated all drivers and windows updates for windows 10
