    Hi,

The problem im experiecing is intermittent. It happens around once or twice a day, usually every time it occurs im watching a video, either on twitch or on youtube.

    The Problem

My computer will freeze im unable to move the mouse, after 1 second, both monitors turn off informing me there is no input signal, the monitors turn back on after 2-3 seconds and any video im watching would have paused or crashed.

    Troubleshooting

I managed to log the time it happened and connect that with any events i see in the event viewer. There is 1 error and 2 warning that occur at the time.

    What Ive Tried

    1. Windows Update It is up to date
    2. Reinstalled GPU drivers.
    - Booted into safe mode, uninstalled the graphics card via device manager
    - Back into normal mode, installed the graphics card driver via official nvidia source.

    :)

  2. Computer freezes when watching videos

    Hi all,

My computer freezes during youtube videos or even watching videos on random news sites.

It happens in Microsoft Edge as well as Google Chrome.

It happens using integrated graphics as well as using a Gigabyte Nvidia GT 710 graphics card.

The computer may go for a few minutes (say 10 or 15) before freezing, or possibly not even last one video. It's a bit random in that sense.

When it freezes the only thing I can do is cut power and turn it back on; mouse doesn't work, Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't work.

When it freezes the audio freezes as well, continuing to play the frequencies at the moment of the freeze, sounding like an unpleasant buzzing sound.

After a freeze -> cut power -> turn back on it may freeze during the next boot at the login screen or something and I'll have to cut power again and turn it back on.

With the computer on Ubuntu 16.04 it works fine, but on Windows 10 it has this issue. This leads me to believe it is not a hardware issue.

The computer has been freshly installed and Windows Update says it's up to date.

    Kind regards,

    Daniel

    Computer Is Not Turning On

The seller had barely used it because he said he didn't have time to game. Besides, wouldn't a computer still be able to turn on without a video card or integrated graphics card? (Although you would be extremely limited with its uses if you wanted to do anything at all.)

It's not just that video card, if you wanted to blame my video card, I suppose I should have also mentioned that after I tried to turn the computer on with the HD 5850 inside it didn't turn on and after I replaced it with the original temporary video card, and the computer still didn't turn on. Before all that happened, my computer was working fine. It may have had something to do with how I had to move and unplug/replug connectors, wires, and cables in my PC due to necessary adjustments to fit the video card into the case.
