    Computer freezes with PCI network card when connecting


    Hello. My computer freezes when my PCI network Card (TRENDnet tew-623pi v1.0r) tried to connect to a network. I just got it in the mail off of ebay for $10 a few days ago and just installed the drivers a few hours ago. If anyone has any details about why it is freezing, please inform me.

    Updating to Windows 10 Fall Creators stuck on 82%

    Check to see if you have a Wireless PCI-E Wlan Card installed in you computer. If you do physically remove it and reinstall the update. This fixed my issue when the update was freezing at 81%.

    Issues with Network.

    Yes i am running as an administrator on my pc.

    The wifi card is not built in. It is an Asus pci-65u i believe. I have checked there is no update for the driver. I've also noticed, when i click on the name of the wireless network I'm connected to in the settings, the settings window force closes.

    I'm not overly good with computers but i am fairly experienced....
