Windows 10: Computer freezes/won't shut down

    Computer freezes/won't shut down


    My computer randomly locks up. I can move the mouse and call the task manager but programs freeze and when I try to restart/shut down the blue screen appears with the rotating dots but my computer will never shut down. I've left it alone for over 10 hours and nothing happens. I have to manually shut down to use the computer again.

    This first started happening after a windows 10 update. I rolled it back once and it seemed the solve the issue but apparently Microsoft will not support the older version of windows 10? So it seems like I have to update. I refreshed my computer and reinstalled windows but the issue keeps happening. Do I have to just wait and hope that a future update fixes the issue?
