Windows 10: Computer freezing when updating windows

Today i just got new windows update and i think its done updating because when i tried to turn off my computer its said update and shut down, i turn it off because i have to go work, when i came back home i turn it on again and it boot normally and as usual there is rotating dot about update percentage right after it reaching 100% my computer suddenly freezing and i have to restart it manually and everything fine. Can this damage my windows? and about freezing its common issue i got this freeze since 2 days ago so this has nothing to do with update. But thing that i am worried about force restarting when installing update running as i said above.
