Windows 10: Computer freezing

Hi,


I'm still new to the forum side of this, Im normally used to googling an issue and trying to resolve this myself, however, I am now bestest.


At random intervals, my PC will freeze. I created a second vital desktop and I am able to swap to this desktop when a game Im playing fullscreen crashes etc. However, when I open applications like Task Manager, the application loads, and responds as expected till you try to execute something ie run a new task or kill a program. The setting will just remain on the screen and the application when then freeze.


It sounds ridiculous. This all began when I upgraded my PC. The current spec is as follows:


Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

CPU: Intel i7 10700K

RAM: 32GB 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM

OS Disk: 512GB NVME m.2 SSD

2nd Drive: 8TB Firecuda HDD

3rd Drive: 1TB Sandisk SSD

Graphics card: Gigabyte GTX1080 8gb Windforce OC Graphics Card I dont know whether thats actually needed


In essence, I dont believe this is an issue with the PC not being able to do what I want it to?


I've ran disk checks on all of the drives in my computer. I have tried to ensure that windows updates are completely up to date. Installed the latest drivers, have ran memory checks on the RAM.


I'm completely out of ideas, and have turned to the community for help.

To assist you better, please provide us the below information:

• Have you tried to perform startup repair of the computer?
• When you say that "The screen was freeze, neither the Keyboard nor the Mouse responded.", when exactly the screen is getting freeze? Is it at login screen or while booting the computer?
• When you switch on the computer, are you able see anything on the screen?
