  1. Computer gets BSOD often, some kind of kernel error

Hello, as the title says, my computer has been getting BSODs quite often, and the minidump files indicate that ntkrnlmp.exe is at fault.I've updated drivers using 3rd party software such as Driver Easy etc., but it doesn't help much.I had a similar problem before, my graphics driver hadn't been updated and it fixed the problem for some time. But now the BSODs are more frequent, and I feel like they occur mostly when I turn on the pc, not really after 15 minutes of usage.Any tips? Thanks in advance! /NoaBSOD errors such as: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUALand, in the dump files,FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: 0x1a_34

    :)

Several Kernel Errors within a day?

Lets get back to this troubleshooting step *Arrow Several Kernel Errors within a day? - Page 2 - Windows 10 Forums
The result was a working system in safe mode, though the GPU isn't used in safe mode.
Please perform a clean boot again, watch the temperatures at all times (if you didn't yet) and from there we'll see what needs to be done. Please do not enable anything in taskmanager & msconfig, I want you to boot without any startup items & services enabled.

What was the BSOD stop code? Based on the BSOD stop code I'll edit the suggestion in this post.

  3. BSOD - Kernel Security Check Failure

    Hi Ashton,

There's a lot of reason for booting in to a BSOD, like problems with the driver for your display adapter or the
video output is being sent to an unexpected port. KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE error is usually caused by Memory or Driver incompatibility issues or corruption of system data.
In order for us to efficiently assist you, we just have few questions for you:

    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Regards.

BSOD since 23/07, Critical Error Kernel Power- event ID 41

    Zbook,

Thankyou very much for your reply. In relation to your first post, I have carried out steps 10-22 (apart from step 15, I will attempt to leave it running with this tonight). The screenshots are attached. I have also uninstalled the programmes detailed above. Unfortunately, as my laptop is a custom built from PCSpecialist, they do not provide BIOS updates anywhere easily accessible. I will phoen them today and see if there are any updates.

    Kind Regards
    Ash
