Windows 10: Computer gets stuck in preparing automatic repair screen

When i boot my pc its loads up then the Preparing automatic repair screen pops up the circle loops around a few times freezers and computer shuts off any help?

Preparing automatic repair black screen afterwards stuck


Fixing this gaming PC for a friend. His computer gets stuck on the windows logo with the dotted spinning circle. In the past to fix this i've done a startup repair. But this time, the PC starts the Preparing Automatic Repair, then screen goes black, where normally it should be showing diagnosing your pc before loaded the Automatic Repair screen.

What should I attempt to try next?

 

Computer Stuck at Preparing Automatic Repair screen?

I got a new computer and was using LapLink to transfer all files/apps to it from my old computer. When I restarted my new computer after transfer, I got a Blue Screen of Death that said it would automatically restart for me. It jumped straight to the Preparing
Automatic Repair Screen, and froze. There's no "progress wheel" at all, and the computer has been stuck there for 12+ hours at a time doing nothing. I cannot get it past this screen. The best I have done is mash F1 to get system details, mashing F8 did nothing.
Please help, no idea what to do.

Windows10 stuck on Preparing Automatic Repair screen on bootup

Just upgraded to Windows 10 last night. Was working fine until I started up computer today. Now getting stuck in boot-up process at Preparing Automatic Repair screen.
