Windows 10: Computer goes to sleep mode while powerpoint is presenting

Since the latest Win11 update 23H2, when presenting with powerpoint connected with HDMI, display extended and using presenter mode on laptop monitor windows will turn off screen if staying on the same slide for several minutes. Battery is at over 90% when this happens but laptop is not plugged in. No setting in the power settings looks relevant and this explicitly did not happen before installing 23H2. Is there a way to get this very simple ability back without uninstalling 23H2?

Assigned Access of Powerpoint Presentation

I was hoping that by downloading the PowerPoint Mobile app in windows store, that I would be able to use it to setup assigned access on a Windows 10 computer and display a powerpoint presentation. Our issues is, we need this to be a Kiosk that no-one can
close out the presentation. Powerpoint allows you to turn most functions off, but you can still access the ease of access toolbar, and can also close the presentation out. When I go to assigned access though, Powerpoint Mobile does not appear in the list of
Apps. I have downloaded other Supposed PowerPoint Presenters, but none of them show up in the list either.

Can anyone tell me how to achieve this! I do not understand how to setup the Power Shell code to set this up, too technical for me. But I really need this as Kiosk computer. Any suggestion?

 

How to prevent Windows 11 from sleeping during PowerPoint presentation?

Hybrid sleep is disabled, but I don't want it to not go into sleep mode ever, just to not sleep while in powerpoint presentation mode. It doesn't sleep when a video is playing, I want that same "view this as activity" type setting for powerpoint. I didn't have an issue with this on my previous windows 10 laptop so there was obviously some setting there that allowed it to stay awake if powerpoint was on.

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below if not tried already and check if it helps.

• Navigate to Start>Settings>System>Power & sleep.
• In the right pane, select Never from the drop down list for
  Screen and Sleep.
• Close the dialog box and check for status.
