  1. Computer has problem with programs which access kernel. Is this a hardware or software issue?


    When I start applications that run on the kernel specifically anti-cheat software such as Battle-Eye or Easy-Anti-Cheat it will fail to start the application or blue screen. The applications will usually block my graphics drivers or other dll files from loading or inform me that I should check the integrity of files - following these instructions leads nowhere useful. Additionally, my computer struggles to install windows updates. Also, applications like steam, discord, and chrome will randomly open and close themselves unannounced. I highly doubt I've downloaded anything malicious off the i

    Try the below steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

    Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

    Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

    • Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
    • Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The

    Provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

    • What is the make and model of your computer?
    • Is this issue confined to any specific application/ program on your computer?
    • Have you tried using different keyboard and check if the issue persists?

    Let us try the below troubleshooting steps to check if the issue persists with keyboard.

    Step 1: I suggest you to run
    Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
    as it checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

    • Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
      Troubleshooting and select it.
    • Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
      Troubleshooting window.
    • Select the Hardware and Device
      options from the list.
    • Click Next to run the
      Hardware and Device
      Troubleshooter.

    Step 2: Update the driver.

    • Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Keyboard.
    • Right click
      on the Keyboard driver and click on
      Update driver software
