Windows 10: Computer hasn't been the same since 2004 update

After days of pestering by windows, I finally installed the 2004 update. The next morning, when I switched on my PC, it was slower than it had ever previously been. Under the recovery options page in settings, I clicked "Go back to the previous version of Windows 10". However, despite having successfully done so, the computer just isn't the same as it used to be. It still seems considerably slower than it had been a month ago.

Any advice?

Windows Update hasn't updated since May

In the update history it says "No updates have been installed yet."

There hasn't been an update since the 20th of May.

 

Computer update

I'm assuming you have researched your initial list of parts?

What is your budget?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
