Windows 10: Computer keeps crashing with ntoskrnl.exe as the culprit

For the past few months, my computer has been regularly crashing 1-3 times per day for no apparent reason. The most common crash errors are SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER. This leads me to believe that it's due to a faulty driver, but I can't seem to figure out what exactly is the root cause.


I've tried to investigate crashes via BlueScreenView, verifier, as well as chkdisk and sfc scannow to no avail. I'd appreciate if someone with more experience could help me. I'll try to provide any necessary crash logs or documents on request.

Ntoskrnl BSOD

• Update your Realtek audio driver.
• Update your computer.
• Disable overclocking settings.
• Turn off BlueStacks/ another Android emulator.
• Clean your registry.
• Check your disk for errors.
• Fix bad memory issues.
• Remove faulty sticks of RAM.

There are many possible reasons why the computer will keeps on crashing. One of which is missing or corrupted system files. For us to further isolate the issue, we suggest answering the following questions:

• What exactly are you accessing/doing when the computer crashes?
• Were you still able to login to the computer after it happens?
• Can you send us a screenshot of the error messages or mini dump that you've received?
