    Computer keeps freezing or crashing at random times


    I recently have been have a problem with my Hp Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-0xxx, I recently redownload Project Zomboid from Steam and after that my Pc has been crashing or freezing up at random times mostly when I play games or try to update the system. My volume also doesn't work anymore and has a red circle with a white x in it. I looked into the Windows Update and noticed there are 4 updates that are stuck saying Downloading 0%. -Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 Version 1.383.207.0-2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-ba

    Random Crash/Freeze on Build 10130


    Hello everyone.

    I have been running the Windows 10 preview for the last few months and other than a driver issue here or there, did not experience any real problems. However, with the last update to build 10130, I have been experiencing a random crash/freeze that manifests itself in one of two ways:

    1. If I step away from the computer and come back before the monitor is set to go to sleep, I will come back to a frozen cursor, unable to do anything.
    2. If I step away from the computer and come back after the monitor has gone to sleep, I will come back to a black screen, unable to do anything.
    In both cases, I have to hold the power button in to shut down the computer for a restart.

    Any direction or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Computer keeps freezing at random times. (No bluescreen)

    Hi!

    My PC keeps freezing/ being stuck at whatever task it's on at random times (No bluescreen, crashing or restarting). I have reinstalled all the drivers multiple times and it also has healthy temps. Here are my specs

    CPU - Ryzen 7 5800X

    GPU - EVGA Geforce RTX 3080

    Motherboard - ASUS ROG Strix B550-F



    Could someone please help me figure out why this keeps happening?

    Drivers possibly causing random computer freezes/crashes

    We appreciate your response. For us to further isolate the random freeze/crash issue of your computer, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your device drivers? If not, we suggest that you uninstall your drivers, and then reinstall the
    latest versions from the manufacturers website.
