Windows 10: Computer keeps going into s mode

I have been setting up laptops for a school and have used the school’s windows education volume license.
Strangely, after renaming the PCs, they all switch into the windows education s mode, which we do not want.

I am unable to upgrade back to the normal mode, as I am always prompted to go to the store for which I have to sign in with a microsoft account. I do not, however, want to link the PCs to a specific Microsoft account.

How can I fix this issue.

Computer stopped going into sleep mode

Hello, Kiran.

My computer is up to date and I didn't change any settings prior or after the update

I tried step one, but I haven't wait the time required for the computer to go into sleep mode. I did change the 30 minute wait to 10 minutes. So, I'll wait and see what happens

Let’s try simple troubleshooting methods and check if this helps. Follow the below method.

Method 1.

I recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the display driver and check. Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Locate for display adapter and click on it to expand.
  
• 
  Right click on the device and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you install the driver restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic network adapter.
  

If this doesn’t help to fix the issue. I suggest you to update the display driver. Skip step3 from the above steps and right click on the
device and click on update.



Method 2.

If the above method did not help to fix the issue, I would suggest you to
go to the computer manufacturer website and download the latest display adapter driver. If the display driver is not available for Windows 10, try installing the available driver in compatibility mode and check.

  Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

  Select Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
  
• 
  Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
  

For the issue with printer, try the below step.

Method 3.

I would suggest you to run Printer troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• 
  Type troubleshooting on the search bar and click on
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting and click on print on
  printer Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced on the Printer troubleshooter dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
  
• 
  Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Printer troubleshooter.

Computer Shuts Down When Woken From Sleep Mode

To help resolve your issue, we suggest you follow the steps below:

Method 1:Run
power troubleshooter

  On the search bar,type
  “Troubleshooting”
  
• 
  Click
  “View All”
  on the left panel.
  
• 
  Click
  Power,a new window will popup.
  
• 
  Follow the on-screen instructions.
  

Method 2: Safe mode

Check if issue persists in safe mode. To go to safe mode, follow these steps:

• 
  Open Run Command (Windows
  button +R)
  
• 
  A dialog box will open, type
  msconfig.
  
• 
  Locate and select the Boot tab and select Safe with Minimal as option.
  
• 
  Restart Computer.
  

Note:Follow
the same procedure to undo Safe Mode, uncheck the Safe option and restart your system.

Method 3: Clean boot

If the issue does not occur in safe mode, kindly check in clean boot. To place your computer in clean boot, refer

Note:
Once you are done with the troubleshooting, perform the steps in “How to
reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot
“ to reset computer as usual.
