  1. Computer keeps trying to sign into LOCAL_ADMIN on boot

Hi all,Been having some issues with my login for some time but just been ignoring it. I have my computer set to automatically sign me into my microsoft account on boot. However, now When I first boot my computer, it tries to sign me into a LOCAL_ADMIN account I Assume with my Microsoft password- which fails, stating incorrect password. I then have to select my actual login That is linked to my microsoft account and has my picture available from other available users and signs me in fine. However, when going to switch profiles the local admin account does not seem to be visible on the lock

    :)

  2. Computer keeps re-booting

    Hi,

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it helps.

    Method 1

Disconnect all the external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc...) Except mouse and the keyboard and then check.

    Method 2

I suggest you to run in-built Power troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting on the left pane, click on
      View All.
    • Click on Power to run the troubleshooter.
    Method 3

If the above method doesn’t help, I suggest you to reset and restore all of the default Power Plans back to their default settings. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Select Command Prompt (Admin).
    • At the command prompt, type powercfg -restoredefaultschemes, and then press
      ENTER.
    • At the command prompt, type exit to exit the Command Prompt window.
    • Restart the computer and check with the issue.
    Method 4: Clean boot

Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135/en-us

Note: After clean boot troubleshooting steps, refer to the section "How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot" in the provided link to return your computer
    to Normal startup mode.

  3. Defender keeping from connecting to network computer

    Hi,

I realize that Windows Defender is not letting you to connect the laptop to the desktop pc. I will try to help you with this issue.

Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

    • Did you make any changes to the laptop or the desktop prior to this issue?

    • Have you installed all pending updates on the laptop as well as the desktop pc?

Suggest you to follow these steps on the laptop to check if that helps:

I suggest you to sign out from the current user account, restart the computer and then sign in to the Admin account to check if this helps.

Some problems can be fixed by signing out of your account and then signing back in. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select Sign out. Once you’ve signed out, sign back in to your account.

Ensure to install any pending updates and also update all device drivers to check if this helps.
Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

Once this is done you may also repeat the same steps on the desktop pc to check if that helps.

Keep us informed to help you further.
