    Computer Loading to Bios - Is it a goner?


    Recently, my ASUS zenbook had an issue where it kept getting stuck on the Windows startup page, in particular, when "Asus" appeared and the little circle would spin and spin. Finally, I reinstalled windows from a USB drive which mostly fixed the problem, except the computer would need to restart every time I opened it. Now I have a new problem. When I turn it on, it will only load to bios. I've tried some amateur fixes like changing the boot settings in bios with no success. Does this sound like a problem I can fix for a reasonable cost if I bring it to a professional? Or am I better off buyin

    Computer Loading to Bios - Is it a goner?

    access BIOS settings in Win 10

    I have an 8-year old computer running Win 10. I need to access the BIOS settings. It used to be the holding down the F2 key during startup would bring up the BIOS screen in Windows computers. But this no longer works. A web article listed a complicated
    series of steps leading to a reboot . . . but still no access to BIOS. Any suggestions?
