Computer loses connection to internet when intensive possibly Java program is started

    Hello All,

This isn't my system but a friend of mines that I'm trying to fix, essentially he built this system about 4 months ago or so and has had odd internet issues ever since. It seems to be tied to Java or similarly operated programs i.e prime95 and minecraft. Within 5 minutes of either of those running the system is severed from the internet, it can't detect the ethernet or wifi anymore until you restart the system.

    I've tried:

    resetting the winsock

renewing/releasing IP doesn't work at all as it can't see a network

    Swapping RAM

    Changing RAM frequency

    Fresh windows Install

    Older version of Java install

    Updated network drivers

    older network drivers

    Setting duplex to 100mb half

I have no idea what is the root cause of this or what I can do about it.

    The system is a

    Ryzen 3200

    16gb ddr4 3000mhz

    GTX970

    Asus B450-a prime motherboard

    :)

Is it possible to share internet connection via remote desktop?

RDP is not capable of Internet sharing, so you can't share Internet using RDP with standard applications. There are many way to share Internet from a Windows box to another one. I suggest you to use VPN. You should do following steps:

    1. Run VPN Server on your server with unlimited internet access
    2. Connect to VPN server from your limited computer
