Windows 10: computer lost product key in crash. Getting Error Code 0xc0020036

Been running for 6 months ... had a system lockup/crash that took out audio services And made activation notice appear But every time I check it showed as being activatedNow when I check it says no product keyreenter product key and get the invalid message? Is it possible that the key was invalid and yet still worked for 6 months or the number is invalid because it was validated on this computer that no longer knows it's number? Logic says it's a loop where the number is listed as used ... but the error code is generic without giving information.

I have a foul licenced laptop, for years, with foul activated windows and the last month i try several times to make the last updates, with many ways and MS tools but, the update crashes all the time with the Error
Code 0xc0020036....

I dont know whats wrong....
