Windows 10: Computer management not opening on Windows 11

Whenever I try to open Computer management on windows 11, I always receive the following error. I have tried fixing it through registry editor and group policy but nothing effective. Tell me how do I fix this problem. I got this Windows 11 through participating in the beta program and then opted out and now on a stable version of 22000.258

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

  Incorrect Internet Explorer settings.

Try the steps listed here and check if it helps:

I suggest you to disable browser add-ons and check the issue is caused due to any browser add-ons. Check if it helps.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to boot the computer to Safe Mode with Networking and check if the issue persists or not. If the issue does not occur in Safe Mode with Networking, you may set the computer in
a clean boot and check if it helps.



Step 1:

Boot the computer into safe mode with Networking. In Safe Mode

with minimal set of drivers and files.

If the issue does not occur in safe mode with Networking you may try step 2:

Set the computer in a Clean Boot state. Setting the system in a clean boot state will help to identify if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.

Note: Please note that running Reset Internet Explorer Settings will reset all user-defined settings including those set by installed extensions, toolbars and other add-ons to IE
Defaults. This includes all Security, Privacy and Zone settings. Also this will clear browsing history, delete all temporary Internet Files, cookies, form data and especially all stored passwords.
