    Computer misses keystrokes and buzzes


    My computer, a 2 year old HP 360 envy, has recently started malfunctioning. When typing, it often misses keystrokes and often sends signals from keys not pressed, these being the shift, caps lock, and control keys. I have tried uninstalling drivers, running troubleshooters and doing sfc /scannow, before trying to restore to a save point. The restore failed, possibly due to my drive being encrypted or my antivirus, but left my computer with a malfunctioning Wi-Fi driver now fixed and errors with the system not having permission to access some applications such as the terminalthese seem to be

    For us to isolate your concern with your keyboard, we would like to know the following

    • Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (i.e., updates, software installation)?
    • To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
