Windows 10: Computer Not Booting after MBR2GPT CMD, Can't Find UEFI Boot/Legacy BIOS, Please Help!

Hi everyone, I would like to thank everyone who is able to try to offer help, A little bit of backstory about my problem, before this happened I was trying to change my boot sequence for booting onto the onboard USB or CD drive. When I try changing the boot order, when I pressed enter it flashed for about a millisecond before going back to the main menu of BIOS again. After some research it seemed I had to turn off secure boot which after searching in BIOS I wasn't able to find it, which eventually this led me to use MGR2GPT cmd in hopes of turning off secure boot. Legacy to UEFI boot

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to perform a disk partition and firmware boot to UEFI through cmd or powershell without rebooting the device and manually changing the info at the BIOS? I should say that I am attempting to do this remotely with no physical access to the device.
It is a Dell laptop which I am attempting this on.

So far I have this (cmd):

mbr2gpt /convert /allowfullOS

shutdown /r /fw

It converts to GPT successfully then I get the following error message when attempting to boot through UEFI:

"boot to firmware ui is not supported by this systems firmware"

Any help is much appreciated

 

Need help in changing BIOS settings from legacy boot to UEFI boot.

I tried selecting UEFI in the first entry, however there is no 'Windows Boot Manager' choice listed in the drop down list. I have thrown in the towel and began a fresh install of Windows 10. The instructions in my manual for this motherboard are pretty much non-existent when it comes to UEFI/Legacy boot modes. Based upon what was reported by diskpart, I don't think that MBR2GPT works very well.

 

HELP!!! UEFI boot is slower than legacy boot

I had freshly installed windows 10 in my (hp 15-be020tu) notebook . Before installing iso in uefi mode ,i had install windows 10 in legacy mode and that was atleast booting a bit faster and apps were working faster . But when i shifted to uefi mode my laptop
started to boot slower than legacy boot . And when i start to use any application ,it stucked for few seconds. I even had removed the unwanted bloatware applications and disabled all startup apps which was not necessary and services even then it is booting
slowing and not working faster like legacy.

I have installed the latest bios version. My motherboard name is ( insyde 81eb ) bios version is f.49 .pls help me
