Computer not connecting to specific wifi networks after restart

I've been having this issue since I still had Windows 10 on this laptop, though I'm currently fully updated to Windows 11. Almost every time my computer restarts, shuts down, or hibernates while connected to the internet, when I next use my computer it will no longer be able to connect to the network it had been connected to before. There is no issue with the network, other devices can connect just fine, it's just this laptop. I can see the network in the menu, the password is accepted, but when I click to connect it simply loads for a long time and then gives me a message saying "Can't connec

hide specific Network connection adapter from Network list

    Hi Mr @Brink ,

Is there a way to hide specific "Network connection adapter" from the "Network" list in system tray (network icon list)?
I have 3 network adapters, Ethernet,WiFi and Microsoft KM-Test Loopback adapter (name as KeyShot). Whenever I disable Ethernet and WiFi adapter, KeyShot adapter appears as an Unidentified network (SS below). I know I can hide it by disable the adapter, but I don't want to disable it because Keyshot app needs that network adapter to work on Win OS.

I want the network list be shown as SS below (I want to hide just KeyShot adapter from the list):

Wifi connects but no network internet

Currently my internet is being a little troubled. I can connect to the wifi, but only one of the networks on my computer (we have a 2.4 ghz and a 5ghz network, I can only connect to the 2.4ghz network). So, I can connect to that network, and the internet
does in fact work. Youtube runs, I can download things, etc. However, when I over over the wifi symbol, it says (24WillaRouter, Internet Access .... Network, No internet access), but for most intents and purposes, the internet works fine. The exception comes
when I try hosting a game session on my computer that I run, and it acts as if I don't have internet in that scenario, and beyond that, I can't connect to the 5 ghz network for the faster download speeds. As of now, I use a wifi adapter on my computer to connect
to the network and it seems to be in fine working order. Phones and my laptop don't seem to have this problem. I'm really befuddled because I can't seem to find anyone that is having this specific problem.

As a note, here are the things I have tried to resolve the issue:

Reboot the modem and router several times

    Restart/Shutdown my computer several times

Multiple ipconfig commands suggested by "12 Step by Step Fix to Wifi Connected but no Internet Access"

Restart Modem via Xfinity Customer Profile

    Restarting when connecting to wifi

    Hi Reginald,

There could be changes made on your computer that has caused your computer to restart when connected to the network. For us to diagnose and address this problem, we would like to know the following:

    • Were there any changes or updates performed in your computer prior to the issue?
    • Does the same error message appear even after performing a restart?
    • Do you have other computers connected to the same WiFi network?
    • If you do, then is the issue isolated on this specific computer?

In the meantime, let's try to disable the NetBIOS and see if it addresses the problem. Follow these steps:

    • Go to Control Panel, then click Network and Sharing Center (or simply right click on the Connection icon on your task bar, and click Open Network and Sharing Center)
    • On the right pane, click Change adapter settings.
    • Right-click your network adapter (WiFi) and select Properties.
    • Highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP) and choose Properties.
    • Click the Advanced button on the lower part of the window.
    • Click the WINS tab
    • In NetBIOS Settings section select Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP.
    • Click OK and restart the PC.

Please let us know how it goes so we can further assist you.

    Regards.
