Windows 10: Computer not letting me delete files from my removable usb

Once I am finished with the video's on my USB I try delete them via right clicking on the folder and then selecting delete. Then thismessage shows up:


When you end up clicking 'Yes' it doesn't delete the folder and the message goes away. I have had this happen before and I had to manualy wipe the usb.


Please help!!!!

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

USB Port Oddities


Ok, let's see it with pictures step-by-step. First right-click on the USB device and select Update driver software:





Then select Browse my computer for driver software (LAST option) :





The select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer (LAST option) :





Then select the standard driver from the list and click next:





Click next/OK as required to complete installation. Repeat the steps for all Intel USB devices. Finally click on each USB root device and press DEL to delete it, reply YES when asked. After deleting all USB root devices restart the computer.
