    Computer not selecting dedicated graphics for video encoding or decoding after last Windows...


    So today I went to render a video for class and I noticed that my laptop no longer is using the GPU for video encoding or decoding regardless because apprently the new Windows 10 update takes away which graphics processor I use for video rendering putting unneccessary strain on my CPU which runs extremely Hot for a Intel Core I5 7300HQ as my HP was not designed well in regards to thermals. Is there a way to turn this back so my GPU is used instead or is it because of power saving.

    command line based video de/encoder tools

    to add video encoding/decoding benchmarks to tpubench and to our reviews i am looking for command line based tools.

    any suggestions? i'm a complete noob with this video stuff.

    Regarding Dedicated graphics

    Sir please clear my confusion

    • There is a program called DXDIAG when i open it and click on display it shows graphic memory 2136 mb but when i open intel graphic properties it shows dedicated video memory 128 mb so where all the left memory used.
    • Is updating driver really helpful especially graphic drivers.
    • How to increase dedicated memory from 128 to 512 because mylaptop contain 4 gb ram.
    • When i enter BIOS i do not locate configuration tab what to do,help me to provide the advance bios mode
