    Hello. After a short power outage, upon restarting my computer, it loaded unusually fast. It seemed to work fine until the log-in screen, which was always the same background and didn't have the usual messages on there. After logging in, the only things present were my taskbar and the cursor with the loading icon. The screen was flickering with my theme color, and nothing works.


    Unplugging it for 30 seconds and replugging did not help, but I managed to go into the startup menu and did the repair assistant. It said there was an error and saved a log, but I'm unsure where. There was no system restore even though I was pretty sure I saved one from a while ago.


    After that I found out that I can still access safe mode with networking, and that's where I am. Is there any way to fix this...? Thank you

    Unable to Start in Safe Mode Win10

    I understand that as repeating the basic problem. Is that what you mean? I can't tell you why- some sort of corruption- hence all the steps I'm suggesting. Please try each in turn.

    The first are to check for basic forms of corruption and so proceed onwards in order.

    Cannot Enter Safe Mode / Computer boots normally

    I'm running Win 10 Pro 1903.

    Here are the steps I have taken to get into safe mode: Start button, settings, update and security, recovery, advanced startup, troubleshoot, advanced options, startup settings, restart. The computer boots normally, not in safe mode. Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks in advance for your help and interest. .
