Windows 10: Computer not working properly after update

I did an update for Windows 10 version 2004. I was prompted to restart my computer and then after starting up again, my background photo was a generic/default and it was telling me there was an issue logging into my account. So it asked me to reenter my pin, and told me it was working but all my files were missing, as if the computer reset itself. I have always done updates but have never had this issue. Obviously it is important that I have this fixed as there important documents missing that I need. I have tried restarting and it keeps telling me there is an issue with my account and asks me to verify my login but entering my pin. I appreciate any and all help. Thanks

For us to properly isolate the issue with your Windows Hello, we would like to know the following:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue (e.g. updates, software installation)?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what specific troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

In the meantime, we suggest that you try reinstalling your camera driver to resolve the issue.

We suggest that you try to run Hardware and Device troubleshooter using the steps below:

• Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
• Click Run the troubleshooter.

We also suggest that you update the keyboard driver and check if it work.

Cheap Photo box that will get the job done

WEll i took on this project for PP hes a hardware reviewer and wants to get the professional looking pics for the Pc parts

Materials:

• Big cardboard box

• a razor

• white material 3 yards

• cone lights

• stapler

• medical tape

• pvc pipe about 6 inches longer than your box

• white paint any cheap finger paint would work

the project I'm guessing will cost me $30 if it works out properly
I will post pictures and step by step as i do it
