Windows 10: Computer occasionally does not respond to unlock

Hello,I've been having a problem for maybe the last 2 or 3 months where, every now and then, when I try to unlock my PC after not having used it overnight, the monitor wakes up but gets stuck on a light blue not exactly the BSoD blue screen. I have tried to re-lock the PC Win-L and tried to press ctrl-alt-del more times to get something different to happen with it, but I can't find anything that changes the screen. The only thing that works is to hold down the power button to force it turn off and then to turn it back on again. There is no error message presented when this happens.Usually

[W11] Unlock screen occasionally blank

I generally use hibernation to power down my computer, only occasionally doing a full shutdown. However, occasionally when I wake it from hibernation and attempt to login, the unlock screen is almost completely blank - my profile picture is missing and there's no option to enter my PIN; only the internet, accessibility and power options in the bottom right of the screen are visible. Hibernating and re-waking my computer doesn't work; the only option is a full restart. This can be quite disruptive, as I tend to have many windows open when I use my computer.

I had a virtually identical issue when I used Windows 10, but I was able to use ctrl + alt +del on the blank unlock screen to force the PIN entry to appear; however, this no longer seems to work after I upgraded. I'm also not entirely sure if this is a problem with hibernation specifically or with the unlock screen in general, though I strongly doubt it is the latter. Is there anything I can do to resolve this, or to diagnose a potential cause?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
