  1. Computer overheats during gaming after Win10 reinstall.

After installing some driver updates, I can't start Windows for some reason and when I tried to reset Windows, it also failed for some reason. So I got a media creation tool and made a boot USB drive with it, no biggie. After getting the installation done, I noticed that whenever I play games, the laptop would overheat quickly, even the least hardware intensive games. What could be the reason for this?

    :)

  2. I can't reinstall my previously installed games!!!

    Hi Fahd,

It appears that you're having an issue installing your previous games after reinstalling Windows 10. We would like to know if it is only happening when you're installing your games or is it also happening when you're installing an app from Microsoft Store.

Meanwhile, we suggest clearing Windows Store's cache by performing these steps:

    • Press Windows key + R.
    • Type wsreset.exe then hit Enter.
    • Restart your computer.

Keep us in the loop with the result.

    • What is the model number of the computer?

    • Which game are you trying to play?
    • Try playing other games and check what the status is.

    Method 2.

If the above method did not help to fix the issue, I would suggest you to

Computer overheats during gaming after Win10 reinstall.

Will playing games damage and overheat my laptop?

    Hi,

It is entirely possible that playing games can overheat your laptop...

Using high CPU and\or graphics generates a lot of heat whether playing games, or running some other process..

Laptops don't have much in the way of cooling capability...

You could investigate some type of temperature monitoring program that displays the temps on the taskbar... Personally I use CoreTemp for this, but I don't feel comfortable suggesting that you do...

Some od the newer versions don't seem to work properly... I found an older one that does.. It seems to vary by the machines hardware setup...
