    Computer Password Issue


    I have an ASUS Vivobook Pro 14, and I’m having a very unique issue with logging onto the computer. As long as I’ve ever had it for the past two years, it always just asks me for my four digit pin, well today it asked me for my Microsoft password which initially said it was wrong so I changed the password, it then said it was wrong again. I reset the password four more times and it continuously told me the password is wrong and now I have no way of getting onto my laptop.

    Password issue

    After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

    • Do you login to Microsoft Account in your system?
    If yes, I suggest you to try to login in to your Microsoft account on other working computer. If you have forgotten your password, I suggest you to reset Microsoft account login password.

    Hi:

    If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

    • Please report back and let us know the outcome, as it will dictate the next steps.
