How can I log into my computer if there is no displayed option to change login method. I know my Microsoft account login so if I can access that option I should be good. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am locked out of my computer due to mis-typing my pin number? How do I get back in?

I mis-typed my pin number several times and now I am locked out of my computer. The message tells me to go to account.live.com to reset the pin but I can't get into my computer so how is that suppose to happen? I am on another computer now but do not know how to access changing my pin on my locked out computer. Suggestions please!

When your computer randomly locks, search for, and open: Event Viewer

Under Windows Logs, Check out:
• Application
• Security, and
• System

See if you can find something that states anything that could be related to your computer locking. The newest events are listed at the top of each section, so finding an event log would be pretty easy to find. Hopefully we can find what is causing the computer to lock.
