  2. Random computer lock-ups after update: KB4074588 (OS Build 16299.248)

KB4074588 can't be uninstalled as you have described.

TBH its just a s**t update that has broken so many systems.

I'd say its broken / caused significant bugs about 5% of the system its updated based on our support tickets about it.

That's pretty impressive for a tock / bug fix update Computer random lock ups after fall update :(

  3. Random computer lock-ups after update: KB4074588 (OS Build 16299.248)

I leave my home computer running at all times and last week I noticed that it was frozen when I came home from work. I had to restart it to break out of the lock-up. It happened again the next day and I checked under windows updates
and saw that an update had occurred. I received several updates to Microsoft Office products and the following Windows 10 cumulative update : KB4074588 (OS Build 16299.248). The lock-ups never occurred before receiving the update. Has
anyone else experienced problems with this update?
