Windows 10: Computer randomly restarts from bug check - 0x00000116

This started a few days ago, my computer started restarting several times when i was playing games. It still reboots even when not playing games. GPU is not overclocking and psu is enough wattage: 3070 with 650 watts 80+ gold.Specs:e3 1270v3. 16gb ddr3. rtx 3070. Mobo: Asus h81m-k 650watt thermaltake toughpower gf2 650watt psu, 1tb crucial mx500 ssd.This is the report for event viewer:Today:The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. BugCheck Crash 1001 Errorcode: 0x00000116 - Microsoft Community

A similar problem has happened to me for more than half a year.
I follow the instructions in the link I post until the part where I create a dump file and I have no idea how to check the dump file.

Can someone help me out to fix my problem?

The VIDEO_TDR_ ERROR bug check has a value of 0x00000116. This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.

I suggest you to remove all the external devices except mouse and keyboard, restart the computer and check whether the issue persists or not.

If still the issue persist then follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to install all the latest pending Windows updates as below and check if it helps.

• Go to “settings” and click on “update and security”.
• Under tab “Windows update”, click on the icon “check for updates”.
• Then once you find the pending updates install it and check.

Step 2: Also I suggest you to update all the drivers (Display drivers) from the device manager and check if it helps.

• Press ‘Windows+X’ and go to ‘Device Manager’.
• Then you can right click on each driver and update it.
• Restart the computer and check if it helps.

Computer randomly has black screen and restarts

Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.
