Windows 10: Computer Randomly Shuts Off Keyboard/Mouse & Audio Devices During Heavy Games

Everytime I play a heavy game or anything that tends to take more power/loading resources, my keyboard/mouse shuts off and completely stops working. The only fix is to restart my computer, in which the cycle just continues. It also starts to randomly disconnect and reconnect my headphones for about 10 seconds before becoming stable. This has been happening for the past 2 weeks as of now, and I haven't had this problem before. I've tried reinstalling, uninstalling, and resetting my drivers. I've tried reinstalling Windows 11/resetting all settings to default. I've gone through my power options

Computer Randomly Turns on From Sleep

I only saw this thread now, otherwise I would have suggested this sooner.
I had that same problem you are having, my computer was waking-up from S3 and the culprit was my X7 mouse.
powercfg -lastwake also listed the HID keyboard device which was an extension of the mouse.
Besides going in device manager and setting everything to not being able to wake-up the computer from S3, I also did this to the power profiles:



Worked for me.

 

Mouse and Keyboard turn off randomly

My keyboard and mouse shut down randomly during use. Doesn't matter how long I've been on computer; keyboard/mouse have turned off shortly after powering on as well. I had this same issue before and went into Device Manager and unchecked "allow computer to turn off device" but I remember having to do this before so don't know why setting would have changed back to default unless it has to do with Win updates.

Do I need to change something in the power settings as well? Everything else is working properly.

Audio + mouse stops semi-randomly

Hi - I am having two problems with my computer:

• Audio stops entirely, usually when playing games - I can fix this by restarting the windows audio service

• Mouse randomly stops working - I can fix this by unplugging and re-plugging the mouse in - This will sometimes, but not always, happen at the same time as the audio problem

A little background - This started happening after I did a full format of windows

I have disabled the power off to save electricity options for all my USB hubs, but i'm still having the issues - and I don't seem to have updates available to any drivers that I can see. My windows is also up to date with the newest version.

I have also updated my bios, and I have tried the windows playing audio troubleshooter
