Computer restart out of nowhere while playing game.Event id 6008,161

Was playing a game that I normally play as usual when out of nowhere my pc just restarts.Upon looking at the event IDs I was shown these errors Imgur: The magic of the Internet

This is the first time I've gotten this error at all .(I dont think its the game because I've been playing it all month without issues except today)

    My config:

    - i9 9900k 4.7ghz

    - 1080ti strix oc edition (not oc'd) (driver 436.48 clean installed with dducleaner 2 weeks ago)

    - 3200mhz 16gb ddr 4 ram (xmpd) tested with memtest86 multiple times likea couplle of months ago.

    - Rog maximus XI hero (bios 1005)

    - R750MX PSU

    - 970 evo SSD 500gb (Everything on this 1 SSD)

    - w10 1903 18362.418

Asus ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO Performance Results - UserBenchmark from like 14 days ago.

I also have no dump file for some reason which is wierd since everything windows wise is pretty much on default.

I've never had this issue before and I clean installed w10 1903 like 2 months ago too.The pc restarted after like 3-4 hours playing and only happened once so far.

I also checked for corrupted files but it found no corruption

    :)

  2. Kernal power 41 (61) id 161

    Hello

So lately I have have this issue where my computer would unexpectedly restart without any information. This never happens when a game is running like battlefield 4 only and it occurs more often when chrome is open. When I go to event viewer it says "event
critical kernel power 41 (63) id 161. When the computer restarts the mouse freezes and then the monitors turn off and the computer restarts. How could I fix this problem?

    So far I tried:

    • factory reset windows
    • check mnd dump

  3. Event ID 6008, Windows 10 1809

Thanks for your reply Leocadia - I understand your suggestions thank you.

The point I was trying to make is our Win 10 Pro v1803 computers, log Event ID 6008 when an unexpected crash happens. However we have Win 10 pro v1809 machines that crashed when the power failed and did not record an Event ID 6008 so I was not able to tell
when the power actually failed, only when they were rebooted. - so my question is :- is this a bug in the 1809 release or by Microsoft design and has anybosy else experienced this situation ??

thanks Bob, IT Manager, Henry Riley LLP.
