Windows 10: Computer restarts randomly, been getting worse.

Over the past month or so, my computer has randomly been restarting itself. In the last 24 hours, it's restarted three times. Each time, I've been doing something different. There's no prompt or no common cause that I've found. I recently did a full clean of it. The CPU temperature stays within ranges of 37c to 75c. I've done a full virus/malware scan, and it has all come back clean; the computer is entirely up-to-date, and I've checked graphics card drivers and updated them as well. Specs: Operating System: Windows 10Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHzInstalled RAM: 16.

Computer randomly has black screen and restarts

Taco this could be software also. Before you get all crazy, do as Erocker suggested. Find out the error in the Event Viewer. Look for the faulting module and the error code itself. Also check the reliability monitor. At the bottom it will have "View all Error Reports". Post a screen of whats in there if anything.

This could be a simple as a bad driver install.

ALSO have you downloaded or installed anything lately? STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BIOS UNTIL WE KNOW THE ERROR! lol. I know you. Baby steps boy, baby steps.

 

Random shut down and restart??

E220@2.406hz
2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
Windows xp

Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused *Mad

One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?
