    Computer running incredibly slow


    Hey everyone! My brother lives in a different state and isn’t good when it comes to computers. I know enough to get by. His computer is extremely slow and it sometimes takes 1-3 minutes for webpages to load. There’s no issue with the internet because the WiFi works great on his phone.

    His computer also has a ton of pop ups. What is the best thing to do from here? Should be take it in somewhere? Or is there something we can do on our own? Thanks everyone!

    Computer running very slow after Windows 10 upgrade

    Dell XPS 8700 computer with 8 GB Ram originally running 8.1 was upgraded to windows 10. After a long installation process, system is up and running but it's very slow, incredibly slow. Any suggestions? I received no error messages!

    Definitely run a malwarebytes scan.

    Is the whole computer slow, or is it just internet related tasks?

    After upgrading to Windows 10, it's just been problem after problem...

    Everything on my computer is running incredibly slow. GTA 5, Flight Simulator X, all running slower than ever. Even the operating system, simply writing something, is slow. And I have a strong laptop. Windows 10 Pro, 16 GB RAM, GTX 860M, i7-4710HQ 3.5 GHz turbo. It's becoming unbearable, and I really need help.
