    Computer running very slowly and fan running high all the time


    Good morning, my Asus computer with Windows 10 started running very slowly about a week ago and the fan is going nuts. The task manager appears to show the antimalware app using up all memory and CPU - mainly when Mail programme is open or I go online. I recently uninstalled Windows Live Mail which I used for years and prior to that moved old emails into an Outlook 2010 programme so I could keep them, and then opened sync'd all the various online email accounts to Mail. Is this the problem, or has there been a Windows update lately that may be causing my computer to slow down? Any easy fi

    If you have checked in Task Manager and everything is normal, it could be overheating.
