Windows 10: Computer screen goes black randomly, can someone help me?

Hi Everyone, My computer screen randomly goes black. The PC still has sound, and the keyboard still functions, but the screen still remains black. The only way to temporary fix the issue is to hold the power button down and reset. I tried everything YouTube and Google research, but still can't fix the issue. I also tried different monitors, cables, and virus scans. I have a RTX 3070 graphics card, and starting to believe it's a graphics card issue, but before I use the warranty, I wanted to see if there is anything else I can try. I also see that you are facing issues with the keyboard this might be due to the corruption of keyboard drivers. I suggest you to run the
hardware and devices troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps for the same.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key + X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
• Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

My hp laptop screen goes black randomly

1. What is the model of HP laptop you are using?
   
2. Does the black screen occur while using the PC or while restarting the machine?
   
3. Are you aware of any changes happened on the computer prior to the issue?
   
4. Which version of Windows you are using? (To check, type:winver in start menu and hit enter.)
   

I appreciate the time you have taken to resolve this issue. There can be many reasons for booting to a black screen.
These screens may appear with or without the mouse pointer.
The main causes are Problems with the driver for your display adapter or incompatible application.
