So it paired with minor difficulty, but they found each other and each knows the other exists and is paired. they know when each other is turned on and they can find each other, but they will not stay connected or even connect in the first place from the phone's perspective. The computer shows it connected, then it changes to "paired" after a few seconds. It connects fine to other bluetooth devices like my headphones and remains connected.I'll start this with the basics, all drivers are updated, windows is in good shape, im on the newest update, i've tried all pairing, unpairing, connecting,

    :)

  2. Computer shows android phone connected, then "paired" after 5 seconds and wont stay connected. Android tries to connect, but states "couldn't connect."

So it paired with minor difficulty, but they found each other and each knows the other exists and is paired. they know when each other is turned on and they can find each other, but they will not stay connected or even connect in the first place (from the phone's perspective). I'll start this with the basics, all drivers are updated, windows is in good shape, im on the newest update, i've tried all pairing, unpairing, connecting, restarting, etc steps.

the 2 biggest steps I could find are the "allow computer to turn this device off to save power" but that option doesnt exist in my device manager. Its not under any bluetooth settings, and there is no bluetooth setting under human interface devices. I have no "power management" tab anywhere and none of the workarounds have been able to find it. Its not in devices and printers either.

I also went the regedit path as another user stated. That also did not bring up power management or change anything.

    Some pertinent info:

its a USB peripheral generic amazon bluetooth adapter.

Im on windows 10 with an AMD machine.

Im running android version 14 on the phone

    one ui 6.0

  3. Buluetooth wont stay connected

I appreciate your response, I completed the steps given in the link you provided (both options) again without success. Bluetooth still shows paired with my device but will not stay connected for more than about 3 seconds. Would you possibly have any other
    suggestions?

Pairing a phone to a car

One thing I would add ... There should be a list of paired devices on the phone, If so it would be best if you "UnPair" any devices listed on the phone as well as the phones shown on the Car. To Unpair a device from an Android Phone go to Settings, Bluetooth and there should be a list of paired devices - at the right of each paired device is a "Cog" icon click on this and click on the unpair option, repeat for any other unneeded devices.

Sometimes paired items get out of sync and both sides need to be removed to re-pair
